Yep, in 2006 the teen moms got 1.2 million (from their website).


In 2007 they got 1.3 million.





But the legislature approved expansion of their funding for 5 mil was cut to 3.9 million; so they only got 3 times their previous budget in 2008.





So the expansion was slashed, but the budget increased. Both sides will play that one as what they want to promote.





Of course the 60% cut claim is dead wrong as the Alaska Challenge Youth Academy was split into its own line item.
Do your own research. She did cut funding, line-item vetos with her initials. But in reality, we don't know the full budget, we don't what funding was provided before her budget, we DON'T KNOW. It's called spinning. I dislike McCain/Palin for other reasons, but this is really a non-issue.
