It was a failure in the revolutionary war, war of 1812, Civil War, Spanish American war, World War 1, World War 2, Operation Desert Storm, Operation Desert Fox, Operation Enduring Freedom (Afgahnistan), and Operation Iraqi Freedom. It has only been succesful in Korea, and Vietnam, but we all know what happens when you don't fight to win a war.True or False?? Sooner or later someone has to get something right....let's hope its sooner.
Wait till September, when the Republicans start to leave Bush's side and Congress can override Bush's veto....cutting off funding is a good way to start a humanitarian disaster...I want the war to end too, but we need to be smart about it and do it with the least bloodshed.
I am a conservative who supports the war, but I don't know if the declining Anti-War movement is a failure or just a result of the Presidential election cycle beginning. I think a lot of liberals are now abandoning their efforts to end the war right now so that they may spend their time and resources electing a canditate who they know will absolutely end the war once elected.
