What government in their right mind would cut off heads?
(I believe the beast is a world government.)Why does the antichrist, beast %26amp; false prophet cut off the heads of people who don't bow to the beast?
The beast that rises from the land will be a man who heads up the apostate end time 'Church of the Antichrist'. This man will be given the power to deceive the world into believing in the godhood of the anti-Christ and will through military enforced world wide martial law demand the worship of the anti-Christ. Forced worship of (or sworn allegiance to) the anti-Christ will be made possible by extreme economic sanctions via a mark placed on everyone's forehead or right hand. Failure to recognize the anti-Christ as ';God'; will cause buying, selling, and trading of all goods and services to be removed for that individual and possible his or her entire family may come under sanction. Today economic sanctions curtailing food and other necessities of life are a common process used by world super-powers to bring the governments and populace of entire nations under their control.
The beheading of those who refuse to the mark by beheading may be an clue as to where the anti-christ comes from. Islam is the only religion today that still practice beheading. The nation of Israel is surrounded by 22 nations of Islam. Israel is the major player in the end times. Anyone who is for Christ, and will not bow down to the beast (anti-christ) have their heads cut off. This has been a form of punishment in many places for years. Fortunately, we have never had to experience this first hand, but there will come a day when I believe the U.S. will lose it's power and one of these governments will take over and then we will see a comeback of this type of punishment.
You might want to give some thought to what's going on inside your head.
thats how they can surely kill the people...i think its symbolic.
It's faster than hanging, and more sure than just shooting them.
Obviously I don't condone it, but it is an expediant way of getting rid of one's enemies.

Dunno. I guess because it's one cruel punishment. Although that also could mean that during the time Revelation was written, that was the thing to do. I wouldn't put it past the Antichrist though. Just look at it this way, it'll happen so quick you won't even feel it.
I believe that the antichrist is coming to wage a spiritual battle and representations such as those depicted in theatrical productions such as the 'Left Behind' series are somewhat biblically inaccurate.
The antichrist will espouse a doctrine of love and perform miracles such as summoning lightning from the air and will present a very good case for being Christ incarnate. However, the deception lies in the time of his coming, which will be at the sixth seal, the sixth vial, and the sixth trumpet whereby the deceived will be worshiping him thinking he has come to 'rapture' them away -- prior to the arrival of Christ at the seventh seal, seventh vial, and seventh trumpet.
Bottom line, if you're still in a physical body Christ has not returned. However, many will be deceived.
The biblical reference to beheadings is more of a general nature such as those suffered by those like Daniel Pearl, various contractors, missionaries, and others in the Middle East during the conflicts associated with Al Qaeda and the Taliban -- and whatever remains to come as we proceed toward the end times.

however cutting off head was a very sure way of killing. more like an execution.
So, you are willing to substitute ';world government'; for ';beast'; (for whatever reason) but you wish to take ';cutting off head'; literally? Why? No, really, think about it for a moment. Could it be you are just stretching reality to fit your beliefs?
